Initial consultation
Before we start our therapy, it's important for us to get to know you and your child and find out your goals of speech pathology and your concerns.
Our initial consultation is a 1 hour, information gathering session which involves a case history discussion with the care giver, and an informal, play based interaction with your child.
This is charged by the hour, at $190.

Assessments
An assessment session will allow us to build an objective profile of your child's communication needs using a range of assessment tools. These tools may include formal, standarised assessments which allow your child's skills to be compared with typically developing children of their age range, or informal assessment activities which can provide insight in to your child's communication skills in more generalised situations.
Assessment sessions are charged by the hour at $190

Therapy and intervention
Once we have identified your child's needs, it's time for us to start working towards your goals!
Following your assessment, your speech pathologist will discuss with you how you would like to work towards your goals and what therapy will look like for you. We offer the following therapy services:
1. Face to face sessions for one of the below durations:
i) 45 minute session
ii) 60 minute session

2. Home programme: A home programme will include a pack of session plans and resources for you to work towards your child's speech pathology goals.

Assessment and progress reports

These are charged in line with the hourly rate (time taken to prepare the report).
Home programmes

These are charged at $380 for 6 weeks of session plans and resources.
Travel
Fees

Travel charges apply to particular service areas. These charges are based on the time taken for the therapist to travel to your session.
